BABY PIERCING:: $37.00
We recommend having babies ears pierced early! 3 weeks to 3 months is ideal. We use ONLY solid 14kt gold earrings without screw-back.
We believe that as the child gets older, the piercing will be that much more uncomfortable.
If it is performed at a young age, then the child will forget relatively quickly. A few
parents can remember getting their ears pierced and they want to spare their child of
remembering. Some parents also believe the ear piercing will forever end the problem of gender
identity when a child is young. A baby girl with her ears pierced will no longer be mistaken for
a baby boy. Also, there is much less chance of infection because the parent is taking care of the piercing and the child isn't touching the ear rings.
ELMA Cream is strongly recommended after 6 months old. Your pediatrician can typically call in a prescription. We suggest you apply it 1 hour prior to the appointment and cover with a Band-Aid.
We can NOT pierce between 15 months and 3 ½ yrs old. UNLESS the EMLA cream has been applied, due to the strength and activity level.
We do NOT need birth certificate or photo ID for baby ear lobe piercings.
